Golf, Tennis, Swimming . . . and Much More
Adjacent to the
clubhouse is a large 40' x 70' heated swimming pool, including a hot tub spa. In a nearby location there are
all-weather tennis courts and a badminton court.
The modern John Wayne
Marina which moors boats to 70' is just 3 miles away. The nearby Strait of Juan de Fuca offers salt water
fishing for salmon, halibut and other rock fish along with beach areas for crabbing and clamming. Shrimping
and oyster picking are available less than an hour away at Hood Canal.
A favorite pastime for
many is hiking on the numerous trails in the mountains of Olympic National Park and at local beaches and
parks. Several hiking clubs and walking groups that cater to all "fitness levels" are available.
Fishing for trout in the abundant streams and lakes in the area is extremely popular amongst Sequim/SunLand
residents. Find us on the map.

Hospitable, Sociable . . . and Friendly
Practically everyone at SunLand has
come from another location within the U.S., and new arrivals are impressed with the openness and
friendliness of SunLand people. Newcomers are welcomed into the swing of things and feel comfortably at home in a very short
time.
A talented and creative Social Committee is always planning
for new events to keep members active and connected to others in the community. The annual Dungeness Crab
Feed at SunLand's beachfront cabana is one of the most popular social activities organized by the committee.
As an alternative to golf memberships, the club offers a Social Membership program. Click here for details.
